How I Jumped to Rank 14 in 5 Minutes in Kingshot Event
시작하며
Want to climb fast in Kingshot’s weekly event? Here’s how I jumped from rank 791 to 14 in just 5 minutes—without spending a fortune.
This is where smart resource usage, timing, and speed boosts all come together. Kingshot’s "Hall of Governors" event can make or break your power gains for the week—and it all starts on Day 1.
1. What exactly is the Hall of Governors event?
If you’re new to Kingshot, this is the event you need to prepare for.
Hall of Governors is a 7-day event where your rankings are determined by how much progress you make in different categories each day. What makes this event unique is that it's not about one skill or one hero—it tests your entire base, from construction to hero development.
This is why I save all my speedups and resources for this week.
I’ve done the same thing this time. The moment the event went live, I kicked off the upgrades and used up everything I had.
| Day | Focus Area |
|---|---|
| Day 1 | Power Boost (Construction + Research) |
| Day 2 | Hero Development |
| Day 3 | Troop Training |
| Day 4 | Resource Gathering |
| Day 5 | Another Power Boost |
| Day 6 | Governor Gear Upgrades |
| Day 7 | Hero Development Again |
If you plan properly, you can jump significantly in rank each day with minimal spending.
2. How I prepared for Day 1: Power Boost focus
This is where I made my biggest leap—791st to 14th in minutes.
Before the event began, I had a clear strategy:
- Level up Town Center to 25
- Focus on construction speedups
- Time everything around a 5-minute “Double Time” decree
🔧 What I upgraded and why
| Building | Reason |
|---|---|
| Town Center | Essential for progress and unlocks VIP perks |
| Embassy | Prerequisite for next Town Center level |
| Barracks, Stable, Range | Needed for troop capacity and level-ups |
| Academy | Required for higher-tier research |
| Command Center | Offers solid power gains per upgrade |
I started with my Town Center upgrade, since reaching level 24 or 25 automatically grants a free VIP activation, which includes:
- +10% construction speed
- Auto-alliance help
- Auto-hunting
That meant better efficiency during my power sprint.
3. How much did I spend—and was it worth it?
I kept my spending low but got big results.
I’m a light spender, and the only pack I seriously considered was the $5 Monthly Ultra Value Card. It offers:
- VIP activation
- Auto functions (hunt/help)
- Long-term value for minimal investment
But I didn’t even buy that right away. Instead, I used my VIP from the Town Center upgrade and focused on free-to-play methods first.
💸 Speedups used (After the 5-minute sprint)
| Type | Remaining |
|---|---|
| General Speedups | 29 days |
| Construction Speedups | 6 hours (basically all used) |
| Research Speedups | 16 days |
| Soldier Training | 18 days |
| Soldier Healing | 14 days |
So yes—worth it. Especially for construction, which is the main power booster on Day 1.
4. What gave me the biggest power spike?
It wasn’t troop training or research—it was smart use of buildings.
Many players forget that buildings give the highest power-per-minute returns, especially during double-time buffs.
Here’s how I did it:
- Activated a 5-minute, 20% speed buff
- Used speedups immediately without waiting for alliance help
- Focused only on buildings that unlocked higher levels or gave direct power boosts
Why I didn’t wait for help from my alliance
The time I’d lose waiting for helps wasn’t worth more than the 5-minute double-time buff I had running. I rushed as many upgrades as I could—buildings, not research—within that window.
At the end of the sprint:
- Town Center hit level 25
- Used thousands of gems for wood (not ideal, but necessary)
- Burned through most construction speedups
I didn’t just blindly upgrade. I followed the in-game recommended upgrade sequence and targeted only those that contributed most to my power score.
5. So what did I place after 5 minutes?
From 791st to 14th place.
This was the most satisfying moment. When I checked the rankings, I saw:
Current ranking: 14
Now, I don’t expect to stay there. As the day goes on, other players will surely catch up. But the jump shows just how impactful the first 5 minutes can be if you plan right.
Key Insight: Timing and stacking buffs beats raw speedup usage.
6. What’s next—and how I’ll pace myself
This is a 7-day event, not a sprint.
After that crazy 5-minute rush, I decided not to burn all my speedups just yet. I’ve got:
- Hero development coming up
- More construction on Day 5
- Gear upgrades on Day 6
So I’m holding off on spending the rest.
🎯 What I’m watching for next:
- My alliance to help speed up ongoing builds
- Daily packs that might include hero shards (Zoe, Hilde, Marlin)
- Any free event rewards that can replenish my resources
I’m also keeping an eye on my VIP status. Once it expires, I’ll likely buy the Monthly Card to stay competitive through the rest of the week.

You don’t need to spend a lot to place well—you just need a plan.
That 5-minute window taught me something important. Resource management, event timing, and smart building choices can carry you farther than spending hundreds on packs.
So whether you’re a free-to-play player or light spender like me, there’s a lot of room to grow in Kingshot’s Hall of Governors.
If you're starting out, here’s my advice:
- Save all your speedups and VIP activations for Day 1
- Focus on buildings, not research or troops
- Use the 5-minute double-time decree wisely
- Don't wait for help during that window—rush instead
Next up? Hero development. Let’s see how far I can push with Zoe and the new squad.
