Before we dive into the heroes, here's what “Gen” really means.

In Kingshot, hero generations (Gen 1, Gen 2, Gen 3, etc.) refer to the stage of the game when new heroes are released. For example:

  • Gen 1: Heroes available from day 1
  • Gen 2: Heroes unlocked around day 50
  • Gen 3: Heroes released around day 120

Each generation introduces 3 new heroes: Infantry, Cavalry, and Marksman. But not all heroes are created equal—and depending on your investment level, some heroes are simply not worth it.

Zoe is by far the best pick for players with limited or no investment.

Tip: Save all your diamonds early in the game. Don’t waste them on cosmetic features or events. Focus on spinning the wheel during Zoe’s availability.

 

(2) What If You’re a Heavy Spender?

If you’re someone who drops 80,000–100,000+ diamonds regularly, you might be tempted to go after Hilde or Marlin.
