KingShot Thanksgiving Event: What to Focus on and What to Skip

When the Thanksgiving Event Finally Dropped

I’d been waiting for something new in KingShot, and when the Thanksgiving Festival Event finally arrived, I jumped right in. At first glance, it looked like one of those “collect and cook” events we’ve seen before, but this one had a few more layers. The game throws in rotating dishes, special meals, and some sneaky traps that can easily waste your resources if you’re not careful.
So here’s how I played it — and what I’d do differently if I started again.

The Packages That Look Better Than They Are

Like always, the event kicks off with the Autumn Bounty Package. The first one’s free; the next one costs real money. Inside, you’ll find permanent frames, blacksmith hammers, and something called “pure gold.”
Here’s the thing: if your server offers pure gold as a reward, this pack is worth picking up. But if it doesn’t, skip it. You’ll only be paying for speed boosts and random bags that don’t give you much.

For low-spending players, it’s not worth the money. For medium or heavy spenders — the ones who usually invest a few big packs each month — the buffs inside can be valuable since they’re rare. Everyone else should save their funds for better events.

How the Cooking System Really Works

This part confused a lot of players at first. You’ll see six dishes, but only two have tick marks — those are your “special dishes” for the day. Each dish becomes special twice during the weeklong event.
The trick is simple: Cook only the dishes that are marked special that day. When they reappear later in the week, use all your saved ingredients. Regular dishes give fewer points, so they’re not worth your effort.

I learned that lesson on day one after wasting half my ingredients on the wrong meal. Lesson learned the hard way.

The Math Behind Rewards and Rankings

Every day, there are 300 chests you can open, and they drop random ingredients. The point target resets daily, so to stay on track, open all 300 chests every single day for seven days. That’s the only way to hit the reward milestones consistently.
If your alliance finishes first, you’ll unlock a courtyard and a dining table — they’re mostly decorative, but with decent bonuses. Even if your team isn’t top-ranked, when the province tables open, everyone still earns some fair rewards.

In personal rankings, finishing in the top ten gives you a permanent city skin. I’ll be honest, I didn’t love the design, but at least it’s a trophy worth keeping.

Strategy Tips That Actually Work

A lot of players blow through their materials early. Don’t. Spread out your key usage — gold, silver, and platinum — across the seven days. There are extra quests on day three that also count those actions, so pacing matters more than rushing.
Also, keep an eye on overlapping events like Alliance Operation or Arms Race. Their tasks often align with the Thanksgiving quests, meaning you can score points in both without extra effort. Check your event calendar every day.

If you’re on a small or quiet server, you might take first place with around 30–40 million points. But on active servers, chasing the top spots usually isn’t worth the cost or stress.

My Honest Thoughts on the Event

To be blunt, this Thanksgiving event feels more like filler content than fun. It’s not terrible — the rewards are fine — but it drains your energy and diamonds faster than it should.
Still, the Thanksgiving Feast on the last day makes it worth showing up. It’s free, simple, and requires no competition. You just log in and collect your rewards — easily the best part of the whole event.

Final Words

If you’re a casual player, take it easy. Focus on the right dishes, open your 300 chests, and don’t overspend. Heavy players can grab the buff packs if they really want to, but no one’s missing out by skipping them.
Looking back, the real secret is timing — plan your week, cook smart, and don’t get fooled by flashy offers. This event looks busy on the surface, but underneath, it’s really just about patience and good timing.
