Thanksgiving Arrives in Kingshot with the Patron of Plenty Event and New Heroes

Thanksgiving Comes to Kingshot — Here’s What It’s Really Like Inside the Event

When I logged into Kingshot early this morning, the atmosphere already felt different. The map was brighter, the music had that familiar festive tone, and right in the middle of it all sat a giant turkey. It was the start of the Patron of Plenty Thanksgiving event, and I couldn’t help but get curious.
I hadn’t planned on diving too deep today, but one thing led to another — gathering, cooking, summoning — and suddenly, I’d been playing for over an hour. So here’s a look at what this event actually feels like from the inside.

Petra Took the Spotlight First

Before the turkey even showed up, everyone was talking about Petra. According to other players, she’s the easiest hero to level this season since she’s featured in the roulette. I didn’t believe it at first, but her skill set changed my mind pretty fast.
Her tarot-based attacks can stun or reduce enemy attack power, and her Turn Card skill — which heals an ally based on her own attack stats — makes her surprisingly versatile. She feels balanced, not overpowered, which is a relief in a game that often leans too hard on new releases.

When I upgraded her for the first time, it felt satisfying in that small, old-school RPG way — watching the numbers climb, seeing her stats jump, realizing she’d now survive fights she used to lose.

A Feast of Events, Literally

Now, onto the actual Thanksgiving part. The moment I saw the “Cook” button, I thought it was just decorative. Nope. You actually cook dishes — turkey, pies, even mashed potatoes — and each dish affects your progress in the event.
It’s oddly satisfying. You tap, time it right, get a “Perfect Pie” badge, and earn event points. I spent way too much time making imaginary food, but it’s part of the charm. The game doesn’t take itself too seriously during events like this.

The Patron of Plenty challenge overlaps with Alliance Mobilization, which means you can double up rewards if you plan it right — ascend a hero or spend resources and both events move forward. That kind of event layering is clever and keeps you checking in.

The Recruiting Rush and a Little Luck

Every event seems to tempt you into pulling keys, and this one was no exception. I had over 260 golden keys saved and decided, “why not?”
The rush is still there — that tiny heartbeat moment before the animation pops, hoping for something good. I pulled Jable twice and even managed to ascend her by the end. It’s not groundbreaking, but those little wins add up.

Between the free Thanksgiving bonuses and the overlap with ongoing events, it honestly feels like the best time to grind a bit — especially if you’re free-to-play. You can progress naturally just by doing what you’d already be doing in-game.

Reflections from a Calm Morning in Kingdom

By the time I wrapped up, my alliance’s chat was full of people sharing pie scores and turkey photos. The ranking board showed me sitting at number four — not bad for a slow morning.
Looking around my island, I realized I wasn’t even rushing anymore. I upgraded a few buildings, sent beasts on missions, and just enjoyed the rhythm. Kingshot may not be the most complicated game, but it has a certain routine comfort that fits mornings like this.

Thanksgiving or not, that sense of small daily progress is what keeps me logging back in.
In the end, it wasn’t about the rewards or even Petra’s new skills — it was the mix of community, creativity, and just enough chaos.
And honestly, that’s what makes Kingshot linger in your mind long after you close it.
